Put parents in the conversation
Parents deserve a stronger voice in decisions affecting their children. That starts with clear communication, accessible meetings, and a board that listens before it decides.
The work ahead
A school board should keep its promises practical: listen closely, spend responsibly, support the people doing the work, and measure what matters for students.

Every student and teacher should be able to learn and work in a safe environment. Clear expectations and consistent follow-through help learning come first.

Education should prepare young people for more than a test—for college, the military, a trade, a career, and life. Every path deserves preparation and respect.
The measure of success
Accountability is more than a slogan. It is showing up, explaining decisions, and looking honestly at whether the work is helping students and the adults who serve them.
